Vedic Astrology is an art and science practiced in India for over 5000 years. It is based on mathematical alignments of the sun, moon, and planets and in which zodiacal degree they are placed when you were born. These alignments dictate your temperament, personality, physical body structure, life path, strengths, and weaknesses. Vedic astrology considers your rising sign to be more important than your sun sign.

The duration of a reading is 1.5 hours and in this time your birth date, time and location will be used to calculate your personal Vedic Birth Chart. You will be told your Sun, Moon and Ascendant placements, what they mean and how they operate for you in your life. You will be given tendencies outlined by the themes of the planets and given ideas on how these may play out through relationships, career, family, networks, health etc. Your yearly forecast will be given outlining future themes and tendencies, as well as mentoring and advice based on your personal circumstances.

The reading of your chart will go for 70 minutes, and there will be 20 minutes for you to ask questions regarding what has been spoken about, and any other parts you wish to understand more about. You will receive a copy of your Vedic Birth chart, as well as a recording of the reading.

Vedic astrology uses a different calendar. Western astrology bases charts on the tropical calendar (which most of the world uses) and the four seasons, while Vedic astrology charts are calculated using the changing, observable constellations. Another interesting distinction is that modern Western astrology has become more psychologically oriented, where Vedic astrology is based upon one’s individual karma.
